Hub dynamometers are fast becoming a very popular trend, not necessarily because they are more accurate, but because tuners are building stronger cars that cannot be tested on normal rolling road dyno’s without excessive wheelspin and there is almost no speed limit on a hub dyno (typically 400km/h).
Of course Hub dyno’s do have the added benefit that it occupies very little workshop area when stored away. The hub dyno takes a bit longer to mount on the driving wheels of your car, but it is an excellent tuning tool for especially development side of tuning.
The Hyper Power Hub dynamometers comes with all the frills that the loading facilities through the versatility that Hyperwin4 software offers. Apart from all the numerous sensors that can be measured and logged, tests can be done at constant rpm, sweep test and our increasingly more popular road simulation.
As always, we offer the hub dyno in both 4×2 and 4×4 versions and if you bought the 4×2 originally, you can always upgrade later to a 4×4 version.
Due to the unique versatility that Hyperwin offers, you can also put different size absorption unit on the front or rear axle of you can, since Hyperwin4 controls the speed extremely accurate, even if the load differs greatly.
