Basic 4×2 Inertia Model MV-HIDV1 (1000kW, 400kph. 3800Nm)

This dynamometer is for the more serious tuner in terms of maximum speed and power absorption.  With around 2500HP capability (4×4) and 400kph, the sky is literally the limit in terms of maximum performance.

When the loading facility (eddy current brake) is added to the standard inertia dynamometer it enables the user to either put a fixed load on the brake or to hold the vehicle at a certain rpm, or perform a controlled sweep test (ramp test), where the speed is gradually increased while the power and sensor readings are recorded. This is especially handy when a problem is encountered at a specific rpm or load condition. Where applicable, the loading facility can also be used to do engine mapping.

Our latest addition to the loading, enables the user to “add weight” to a standard inertia test by adding additional load.  This is a very convenient option, especially when you are testing more powerful cars and it gives you a bit more ability.
