It makes it an essential tool for the engine remanufacturing company.

The ideal is to test the engine properly on the dyno before delivery.  Therefore, you and the end user have confidence that the engine is properly run-in and reliable.  Subsequent engine failures can thus be prohibited and the reason for this failure might be indicative of faulty installation or usage.
